HEALTH CHECK Display Volunteer

(In support of Healthpartners in the Government of Canada Workplace Charitable Campaign) 

PURPOSE

• Offer useful contact information about a health charity or specific disease
• Promote healthy living
• Thank federal government employees for their continued support 

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive training and orientation regarding Healthpartners and the HEALTH CHECK program.
• Assist in the set-up and tear-down of the HEALTH CHECK display
• Greet and welcome employees to the HEALTH CHECK display
• Refer employees to the appropriate source of information about health and wellness
• Assist with interactive items

**NOTE: WE ARE NOT THERE TO PROVIDE ANY HEALTH ASSESSMENTS OR MEDICAL ADVICE - BUT RATHER ENCOURAGE PARTICIPANTS TO BE AWARE OF THE IMPORTANCE OF A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

• Professional in manner and appearance
